Honda SP160 Price Starts At Rs. 1.17 Lakhs
The Honda SP160 is based on the Unicorn, but styling has been adopted from the SP125
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the all-new Honda SP 160 at a starting price of Rs 1.17 lakh, ex-showroom.
The bold, sporty and stylish SP160 has been designed to deliver power with great performance suitable for daily commuting.
The new bike from Honda looks like a combination of Unicorn 160 and Hornet.
There are 5-spoke alloy wheels on offer, chrome treatment on the muffler and a brawny looking fuel tank with extensions.

It gets a fairly similar design with the same body panels, a V-shaped LED headlight, a slightly wider tank shroud, a single-piece seat with a raised tail section
Honda is offering the SP160 with six colour options that includes Matte Dark Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Pearl Ignite Black, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic and Pearl Deep Ground Gray.
The SP160 shares the main frame and its engine with the Honda Unicorn 160. It is powered by a 162cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 13.5 HP and 14.6 Nm of torque.
The bike is equipped single-channel ABS and is available with dual petal discs on the range topping trim and 130 mm rear drum on the base single disc variant.
The saddle height on the SP160 measures 796 mm while the ground clearance is set at 177 mm.
In terms of kerb weight, the SP160 tips the scale at 139 kg for the single-disc variant and 141 kg for the double-disc variant.

Gets 80/100-17 tyre at the front and 130/70-17 tyre at the rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic fork at the front and monoshock at the rear.
The bike comes with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster that offers information including Clock, Service due indicator, Gear position indicator, side stand indicator, Fuel gauge and other mileage related information such as average fuel mileage, fuel consumption and average speed.
The Honda SP160 competes with the likes of Yamaha FZ, Suzuki Gixxer, Pulsar P150 and TVS Apache RTR 160 2V at this price point.
