Honda Unveils Activa e: and QC 1 Electric Scooters for India

Phased Deliveries for Activa e: and QC 1 Starting February 2025

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its inaugural electric two-wheelers, the Activa e: and QC 1, marking its entry into the expanding electric vehicle market. Although the official pricing for these scooters will be disclosed in January 2025, deliveries are expected to begin shortly thereafter. The QC 1 will be available across the country starting in February, while the Activa e: will be introduced in a phased manner, commencing in Bengaluru in February and extending to Mumbai and Delhi by April.

The QC 1 and Activa e: Specs and Features

The QC 1 represents Honda’s introductory electric scooter, tailored for urban commuters. It is equipped with a 1.5kWh fixed battery pack, providing a range of 80 kilometers and achieving a maximum speed of 50 kilometers per hour. The scooter can be fully charged within 4.5 hours, making it a suitable option for daily commuting.

In contrast, the Activa e: is marketed as a premium model, featuring dual 1.5kWh swappable batteries that allow for a range of 102 kilometers and a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. This scooter is part of Honda’s extensive strategy to implement battery-swapping stations, enhancing convenience for its users.

Both the QC 1 and Activa e: are available in five striking color choices, merging contemporary aesthetics with Honda’s reliable design principles. These scooters address a variety of user preferences, harmonizing practicality with elegance.
