Husqvarna Unveils Updated 2025 Norden 901 Expedition with Euro5+ Compliant Engine and New Features

Swedish motorcycle manufacturer Husqvarna has made enhancements to its adventure touring model, the Norden 901 Expedition, for the 2025 international market. The motorcycle features internal modifications to its engine to meet the new Euro5+ emission standards, along with several minor adjustments aimed at improving the overall appeal of the model.

The 2025 Husqvarna 901 Expedition is now fitted with new rear-view mirrors for enhanced visibility, an upgraded traction control system, a hazard light warning system, and a USB-C charging port. Additionally, Husqvarna has refined the exhaust system to comply with the updated emission regulations, allowing the motorcycle to operate more efficiently without significantly compromising performance. The motorcycle also showcases a new set of graphics, providing it with a refreshed aesthetic.

All other features of the Husqvarna Norden 901 remain unchanged. The motorcycle is powered by an 899cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which is also utilized in its Austrian counterpart, the KTM 890 Adventure. This engine generates 105bhp and 100Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission. Built on a chromium molybdenum chassis, the Norden is equipped with spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose tires. Its suspension system consists of a fully adjustable WP Xplor setup at both the front and rear, while the braking system features dual discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear, complemented by Bosch 9.1MP ABS with cornering capabilities.
