Bollywood actor John Abraham hits the race track on his Honda CBR1000RR-R superbike: Thanks wife for it
John Abraham is known for his love for motorcycles. The actor who owns numerous superbikes recently attended a track day. It was a private track day organised by his wife Priya Abraham in Dubai. John Abraham shared a few pictures and thanked his wife for the track day.
In the pictures that John Abraham uploaded, we can see that he chose the Honda CBR1000RR-R for his track day. While we are not sure if the motorcycle belongs to John Abraham, he owns the same model at his home in Mumbai.

Track days can be fun, especially when you are there with a professional racer. John is rarely spotted on the racing tracks in India. He was spotted in his racing leathers.
The Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is a track-focussed superbike. It gets the same chassis technology and engine of the RC213V-S, which is the street legal version of the RC213V MotoGP bike. It gets powered by a 1,000cc four-cylinder 16-valve engine that generates a maximum power of 217 PS at 14,500 rpm and 113 Nm at 12,500 rpm. It gets a 6-speed transmission.
Honda had launched the bike at a collosal price of Rs 33 lakh. They revised the price and cut it by Rs 10 akh after a stiff competition.
John is a certified superbiker
John in an interview, mentions that he took training from California Superbike School, which is a world-renowned institution. John says that he only rides at high speed on the racing tracks and never tries to speed up on public roads.
He also said that he has left doing wheelies and stunting on the public roads as the youngsters who see him get the wrong motivation and they try to replicate similar things only to fall down. The Bollywood actor says that he rides motorcycles daily and that’s what keeps him happy and going.
More than 10 superbikes
John owns a large number of superbikes. A glimpse at the motorcycles that were parked in his garage includes a Kawasaki Ninja H2, Yamaha V-MAX, Honda CBR1000RR-R, Yamaha YZF-R1, Ducati Panigale, MV Agusta F3 800, and a KTM 390 Duke. He also owns several other motorcycles like a BMW S1000RR, Aprilia RSV4 RF, Ducati Diavel, Suzuki GSX-1000R, Suzuki Hayabusa and a few others.
He also owns several regular affordable motorcycles and customised bikes. These include Yamaha RD350, KTM 390 Duke, Rajputana Customs Lightfoot, Bull City Customs Akuma, Yahama FZ V2 and a few others. John Abraham was the brand ambassador of Yamaha India and was also featured in India’s first superbike movie – Dhoom.
