Keeway Sixties 300i neo retro scooter in a detailed review video

Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer Keeway had officially launched not one but three products in Indian market recently. The manufacturer launched K-Light 250V, Vieste 300 and Sixties 300i. The Keeway Sixties 300i is a model that would easily catch your attention if you spot one on the road. The main reason behind this is the design. It is one of the coolest looking scooters in the market with a retro design. The scooter has started reaching dealerships. All the three models will be sold via Benelli dealerships across the country. Here we have a video where a vlogger does a detailed first ride review of the Keeway Sixties 300i retro scooter.

The video has been uploaded by Dino’s Vault on his YouTube channel. In this video vlogger talks about the design and features of the scooter ad then takes it for a ride. Vlogger mentions that the build quality of the scooter looks great. The design of the scooter is a quite retro yet it has all modern day features. Starting with the front, the scooter gets a black grille at the front with two round orange coloured turn indicators integrated in them. The front wheel fender also has a very simple yet retro design.

The scooter sits on 12 inch wheels with disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. As we move up, the scooter gets a retro looking headlamp with LED lights and DRLs in it. As we come to the side profile, the retro look of the scooter becomes a lot more evident. The scooter has storage space in the front and it comes with a USB charger in it for your phone. This space can also be used for storing the first aid kit and tool kit for the scooter. The fuel tank is placed on the floor of the scooter. Vlogger shows how to open the fuel lid using the key and he also mentions that as the fuel tank in on the floor, the weight distribution is pretty well.

The side covers are long like old scooters with Sixties 300i branding on it. The split seat has storage under it and also has a retro looking grab handle for the pillion. There are twin LED strip at the rear that act as tail lamps. The same lights also have turn indicators integrated into them. The instrument cluster of the Keeway 300i scooter is a mix of both analog and digital meter. There is a an analog speedometer while the digital meter shows details like trip meter, odometer readings, fuel gauge, maintenance meter, ambient temperature and so on.

The rider then takes the scooter out for a ride and comes back impressed. He mentions that the scooter feels solid and the engine is refined. He mentions that one can easily cruise on 100 kmph all day without any problems. The scooter uses a 278-cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine that generates 18.7 Bhp and 22 Nm of peak torque.  The scooter offers a plush ride and the dual-channel ABS takes care of the braking as well. He mentions that the scooter is stable at higher speeds and handles well too. He mentions that at Rs 2.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Keeway Sixties is actually not a bad choice. He however mentioned that Keeway should have included a parking brake and a high beam flasher or pass light switch in the scooter.
