Keeway V302C Launched, Priced From Rs. 3.89 Lakhs
Keeway V302C prices goes up to Rs. 4.09 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-end Glossy Red shade
On a sudden note, Keeway India has disrupted the entry-level premium segment with the launch of the all-new V302C belt-drive V-twin cruiser for a price tag starting from Rs. 3.89 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Deliveries will start from September onwards. Online bookings of the model has begun for a token amount of Rs. 10,000/-. Customers can log onto www.keeway-india.com for more details of the cruiser and the booking process.
The V302C is the fourth product from the Chinese-owned Hungarian brand and comes with 3 colours that attract different prices. However, there’s only 1 standard variant with all the features packed in.
The base Glossy Grey shade is priced at Rs. 3.89 lakhs while the mid-level Glossy Black and the top-end Glossy Red shades are priced at Rs. 3.99 lakhs and Rs. 4.09 lakhs respectively, all prices, ex-showroom.
As per the company, the V302C is a handsome motorcycle with unmatched ergonomics, superior functionality, innovative technology, and uncompromised quality.
Power comes from a 298 cc liquid-cooled V-twin 8-valve SOHC engine that pumps out 29.5 HP at 8500 RPM and 26.5 Nm at 6500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a final belt drive like the K-Light 250V.
The length, width, height, and wheelbase are 2120 mm, 836 mm, 1050 mm, and 1420 mm respectively. The cruiser is pretty light at 167 kg and has an appreciable ground clearance of 158 mm despite its super low seat height of 690 mm.
The seat height is lower than the Bajaj Avenger twins itself which have a seat height of 725 mm. The fuel tank capacity is, again, a good 15 litres. The cruiser gets 120 mm travel front telescopic suspension and 42 mm travel oil-damped coil springs at the back.
Stopping power comes from a 300 mm disc upfront and 240 mm disc brake setup at the rear. ABS comes standard. The cruiser features alloy wheels shod with 120/80-16 tyre at the front and 150/80-15 tyre at the rear.
Keeway is confident that the new cruiser will evoke an overwhelming response like the Sixties 300i, Vieste 300, and K-light 250V. The V302C will be available at all the authorised Benelli – Keeway dealerships from today.
Keeway has an ambitious plan for India to introduce 4 more products across segments by the end of 2022. The products will comprise of 2 retro street classics, a naked street, and a sports model.
