Powering the KTM 390 SMC R is a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque, the same unit found on the 390 Duke. However, the SMC R is likely to feature a different final drive ratio tailored for supermoto performance, emphasizing agility and throttle response.
