KTM is poised to make a significant impact at this year’s EICMA with the introduction of multiple new motorcycle models. The company has already disclosed its lineup on its official website. Among these, the 1390 Super Adventure S Evo is scheduled for launch on October 22, while the 1390 Super Adventure S is set to debut on October 24.

The KTM 1390 Super Adventure has already been observed undergoing testing. It presents a robust and muscular appearance, characterized by angular bodywork, sharp lines, and a commanding stance. The front design features vertically stacked LED lights, with the upper unit being horizontal and the lower unit serving as an LED projector light. Both are flanked by boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). Additionally, KTM is incorporating cornering lights positioned beneath the main unit.

Both the 1390 Super Adventure S and the Evo will be equipped with a 1390cc V-Twin engine, the same powerplant found in the 1390 Duke, delivering 190bhp and 145Nm of torque. However, the performance specifications may vary due to the adventure bike’s intended use. The engine will be paired with a six-speed transmission and will feature a quick-shifter, with an optional automatic manual transmission (AMT) setup recently hinted at by KTM.

The hardware of the 1390 Super Adventure is expected to include adjustable upside-down front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. The braking system will consist of dual front discs and a single rear disc, all mounted on 17-inch wheels fitted with road-oriented tires. Furthermore, the motorcycle will be equipped with a range of electronic features, including various ride modes, ABS settings, traction control, and a Bosch radar system for cruise control and lane detection.

While KTM has intentions to introduce its larger motorcycles to the Indian market, it is improbable that the 1390 Super Adventure series will be included in this rollout.
