MBP to launch T125 and T125X journey bikes in 2023
Two new 125cc adventure-style bikes are due to arrive from MBP in 2023, with the T125 enduro and T125X adventure motorcycles.
We wrote recently about MBP’s C1002V cruiser, and the model also has an adventure range. MBP stands for Moto Bologna Passione, and the Bolognese targets inexperienced riders with its 125 adventure vary.
It’s a range that consists of two models, the MBP T125 and MBP T125X. Derived from the identical base, it isn’t a surprise that each bikes feature the identical single-cylinder, four-stroke DOHC 125cc engine producing 11kW (14.8 horsepower) and 11Nm of torque. The engine also has an electric begin and liquid cooling.

Strangely, the spec sheet of the T125 doesn’t confirm its front suspension sort, however does confirm its front wheel travel at 180mm. On the rear, there shall be a single shock absorber offering 39.5mm of wheel travel. The T125X gives the same wheel journey at each ends, however has confirmed a USD telescopic fork on the front together with the rear monoshock.
The brakes for each bikes are the same, with a 265mm disc on the front and a 220mm disc on the rear, but the respective design intentions of the 2 bikes are highlighted by the wheels and tyres. Each can carry a maximum load of 170kg, each have 11.5-litre fuel tanks, each have a high speed of 120kph (74.5mph), and both have a seat top of 835mm.
