In 2024, the KTM RC 390 and RC 125 will be adorned with fresh hues, as they embrace new designs inspired by KTM’s top-tier performance models.

The KTM RC 8C has surprisingly become the flagship model in KTM’s sports lineup, even though it is not designed for road use. However, this positions it as the standard for the two smaller RC models: the 390 and 125. These two bikes now draw inspiration from the RC 8C’s styling, particularly in terms of paint, along with the new KTM 1390 Super Duke.

In 2024, the road-legal RCs sport a combination of orange sides and a black middle. The design team at Mattighofen has incorporated prominent RC logos on the side fairing. The 125 model stands out with an all-black tank and a designated number on the fairing. However, both the 125 and 390 models offer the option to replace the black elements with a slightly more vibrant deep blue colour.

The bike, regardless of whether you opt for blue or black, predominantly showcases an orange hue, which is quite expected. Even the wheels on the 390 model are orange, giving it a Repsol Honda-like appearance.

However, KTM has been incorporating orange wheels in various models for quite some time now, so it is unlikely to create any confusion regarding branding. On the other hand, the RC 125 features a black frame and wheels, whereas the frame on the 390 is orange, matching the color of its wheels.

The 2024 revision for the RC 390 and RC 125 is solely focused on the paint, ensuring that the RC4 single-cylinder engine remains unchanged in both models (although with varying capacities). The 390 variant delivers a robust 43bhp from its 373cc configuration, while the 125cc version offers a respectable 15bhp.
