Ola S1 Air Neon Revealed, Deliveries Start From 28th July

 

Ola S1 Air neon colour scheme revealed, deliveries begin July 28

The country’s most popular and best-selling electric scooter brand, Ola Electric, has recently launched the newest teaser of its upcoming, most affordable scooter, the Ola S1 Air.

Ola Electric has teased a new colour variant of Ola S1 Air. The company has teased a neon green colour variant of the electric scooter via a post on Twitter.

To recall, Ola S1 Air was launched last year with a starting price of ₹ 1,09,999 (ex-showroom) for the base variant.

The Indian EV maker is accepting reservations for the upcoming scooter for a token amount of Rs. 999/-. Those who reserve it before 28th July and place the order between the purchase window 28th to 31st July.

31st July onwards, the S1 Air will be available for Rs. 1,19,999 (ex-showroom), a Rs. 10,000/- increase in pricing.

The S1 Air is looking quite different with the new Neon shade in these studio shots. Let’s wait and see how it looks in real life conditions. The entry-level variant will come with new grab handle for the rear passenger, dual tone body and 34-litre boot space.

It will be available in six colour options – Stellar Blue, Neon, Porcelain White, Coral Glam, Liquid Silver and Midnight Blue.

The Ola S1 Air will be initially offered with a 3 kWh battery . The scooter takes about 5 hours to charge from 0 to 100 per cent.

It has a top speed of 90 km/hr and does 0-60 km/hr in 5.7 seconds. Gets 125 km of claimed range.

The entry-level model will be available with a 3kWh battery pack and a hub-mounted 4.5kW electric motor, which is touted as Ola Hyperdrive Motor.

It will get 7-inch digital cluster but with a lower resolution of 800×480. The scooter will come with twin-telescopic front suspension and dual shock rear suspension. Instead of alloys, it will get steel wheels.

The ground clearance of Ola S1 Air is 165 mm, 2 mm more than the S1 and S1 Pro.

The seat length is longer as well at 806 mm, compared to 800 mm of the other two variants. It has a kerb weight of 108 kg, lightest in the range.
