RE Super Meteor 650 Revealed At EICMA Show

RE Super Meteor 650 makes its world premiere at the EICMA show

RE Super Meteor 650 finally makes its global debut at the ongoing EICMA show in Milan. The cruiser motorcycle will be available in two variants – Standard and Tourer.

While we all are drooling over the styling, lets talk about the specs first. It is powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin, 4 stroke, SOHC, Air-Oil Cooled engine which is shared with its siblings Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

This engine produces 47 PS at 7250 RPM and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5650 RPM. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is underpinned by a steel tubular spine frame with a 43 mm upside down telescopic front fork with 120 mm travel. Gets twin shock rear suspension with 101 mm travel and are preload adjustable.

The Super Meteor 650 has a wheelbase of 1500 mm and a ground clearance of 135 mm. It is 2260 mm long and 890 mm wide with a height of 1155 mm. The seat height is 740 mm.

The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 241 kg (with 90% fuel & oil) while the fuel tank capacity is 15.7 litres.

Gets 100/90 – 19 M/C 57H front tyres and 150/80 B16 M/C 71H rear tyres. For braking duty, it features single 320 mm disc up front and single 300 mm disc at the rear and comes with dual channel ABS as standard.

The Standard trim will be offered with 5 colour options – Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. The Tourer variant will be offered with two colours – Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.

The bike will make its India debut later this month at the Rider Mania event.
