A notable feature of the Apache RTR 310 is its quickshifter, which reduces the necessity of using the clutch lever. In a city like Mumbai, known for its heavy traffic and frequent stops, this innovation is transformative. The quickshifter greatly alleviates fatigue, making extended rides in congested conditions more manageable and enhancing the overall riding experience. Coupled with the bike’s wide handlebars, navigating through narrow spaces feels intuitive and straightforward.
A Practical and Informative Instrument Cluster
At first, the instrument cluster appeared somewhat overwhelming with its array of information, but I have come to value its functionalities over time. It provides a daily ride summary, including distance traveled and time elapsed, which resets automatically each day—perfect for someone who spends considerable time on the road. Furthermore, the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is a practical addition, displaying real-time pressure readings. As someone who regularly checks tyre pressure, having TPMS integrated into the display eliminates the need for a separate gauge and enhances my overall peace of mind.

Suspension and Ride Quality on Rough Roads
One aspect where the Apache RTR 310 could see enhancement is its rear suspension. On uneven and poorly maintained surfaces, the rear springs exhibit a stiffness that can lead to an uncomfortable ride. Adjusting the rebound settings to a softer configuration might improve the overall comfort, particularly for individuals of my weight (95kg). While this issue may not be a critical flaw, addressing it could make the Apache RTR 310 more adept at handling the diverse road conditions prevalent in India.
