Royal Enfield Has Announced Himalayan Scram’s Reveal Date [Update]
UPDATE – Royal Enfield will reveal the Himalayan Scram 411 on 7th March 2022, while its market launch will take place a bit later.
The launch of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 will happen soon after its unveil in March
Royal Enfield will reveal the Himalayan Scram 411 on 7th March 2022 and launch the bike in the market soon after. The motorcycle will be positioned below the brand’s only adventure bike.
Dealer dispatches of the more road-focused Himalayan have already commenced and thus, the motorcycle has essentially been revealed unofficially for all to see ahead of its scheduled market launch.
Although the Scram 411 features similar styling to the Himalayan, both bikes are notably different on many aspects. For example, the scrambler-style bike has a smaller 19-inch front wheel, reduced road clearance, a new seat, and some alterations in the front and rear.
What’s more, it will even have a completely new twin pod instrument cluster, but the powertrain (411cc, single-cylinder motor and 5-speed gearbox) and braking system with dual channel ABS assist will be the same.
Expect Royal Enfield to ask around Rs. 2 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the upcoming bike which should help it bolster its presence in the premium bike segment in which it leads by a comfortable margin.
