Royal Enfield is continually increasing its product portfolio. Royal Enfield’s new facility in Cheyyar will reportedly produce each ICE vehicles and EVs. The power can even take on a number of the duties from Royal Enfield’s Thiruvottiyur manufacturing unit. This entails a budget of as much as Rs. 150 crore to put the groundwork, and the venture’s completion is anticipated to be in 2025.

Royal Enfield’s EV Plans: Two Different Platforms within the Works

There was speculation that Royal Enfield is developing two completely different EV platforms. The primary is an in-house platform codenamed L1A, which is rumoured to hit the road by 2025. There may be also the EV platform from Spanish EV maker Stark Bikes.

First Royal Enfield electric motorbike is expected to make its market launch in 2025. It is going to be a completely new machine, and never something that shall be based mostly on their present motorbike.
