The Suzuki GSX-8R has been officially launched in India, carrying a price of Rs. 9.25 lakhs (ex-showroom). This model shares its powertrain with the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, which debuted earlier this year. Although both motorcycles utilize the same 776cc parallel-twin engine, the GSX-8R is specifically tuned for enhanced performance. In this configuration, the engine generates 82 HP and 78 Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox that includes a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.
