In February 2022, 200-500cc bike sales went down by a significant amount
Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 leads the 200-500cc bike segment with sales of 30,082 units this February 2022. The premium bike manufacturer had locked the top 3 spots in the top 10 list.
In second place came the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 with sales of 9858 units and the Meteor 350 was next with 6749 unit sales this past month. All 3 bikes registered year-on-year (YoY) sales degrowth.
The Bajaj Pulsar 180 (which has now been discontinued along with the Pulsar 220F) and the NS200 found 4666 unit sales combined and it was closely followed by the Hero Xpulse 200, 4270 units of which got sold last month.
Classic Legends’ Jawa and Yezdi range of bikes collectively found 3391 new homes in February 2022, while the Honda CB350 models came next with 3099 unit sales in the said period.
Royal Enfield’s Himalayan (2977 unit sales) impressed once again and with the arrival of the Scram 411, the adventure motorcycle is poised to grab more share in the segment without a doubt.
The final 2 spots in the February 2022 200-500cc bike sales chart were occupied by the Pulsar 220F and 250 Twins (2475 units) and the KTM 200 range of bikes with 2318 unit sales.
In all, the motorcycles in the above list registered sales of 69,885 units combined last month. This was a reduction of 24 percent in sales compared to the year-ago period.
