Triumph Unveils the All-New Tiger Sport 800

Triumph Expands Its Tiger Lineup with the Sport 800

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the latest addition to its Tiger lineup, the Tiger Sport 800, an adventure-focused motorcycle positioned between the Tiger Sport 660 and Tiger 900. The new model has already made an impressive international debut, merging classic Tiger design elements with upgraded performance features for both urban rides and highway touring.

Power and Performance

The Triumph Tiger Sport 800 is powered by a 798cc inline three-cylinder engine, generating 113bhp and 84Nm of torque, designed to deliver substantial mid-range power. Triumph has engineered this engine to excel in both city commutes and high-speed highway runs. Paired with a six-speed transmission, it includes a bi-directional quickshifter, offering seamless gear shifts that enhance the riding experience. Its sound profile—a combination of distinctive intake and an exciting exhaust note—amplifies the Tiger’s appeal among enthusiasts.

Cutting-Edge Rider Assistance and Electronics

Advanced electronics make the Tiger Sport 800 a standout in its segment. It comes equipped with a six-axis IMU that governs its cornering ABS and traction control, ensuring optimal safety even in wet or uneven road conditions. Riders can select from three riding modes: Rain, Road, and Sport, to adjust performance based on road and weather conditions. Cruise control is standard, providing convenience on long-distance journeys. In addition, Triumph offers an accessories package allowing further customization, including heated grips and tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), to tailor the bike for all-season riding.

 Bold Design and Dynamic Features

The Tiger Sport 800 adopts the visual appeal of the Tiger Sport 660, featuring a sharp front fairing and a split LED headlight design, enhanced by fang-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and an adjustable windscreen. This adjustable visor not only elevates the bike’s aesthetic but also improves wind protection, particularly useful on long rides. The Sport 800 introduces an upswept exhaust system, in contrast to the underbelly setup of the 660, enhancing its rugged profile. Available in Sapphire Black, Caspian Blue, Cosmic Yellow, and Graphite colors, the bike’s sleek bodywork and bold colors are bound to attract attention on any terrain.

 Premium Suspension and Braking System

The Tiger Sport 800 uses a Showa USD front fork with adjustable compression and rebound, coupled with a Showa monoshock featuring a remote preload adjuster, which optimizes comfort and handling for diverse terrains. It rides on 17-inch wheels with Michelin tires for excellent grip and stability. For braking, the Tiger Sport 800 is fitted with twin 310mm front discs and a 255mm rear disc, delivering reliable stopping power and enhancing rider confidence.
