TVS Apache RR 310 naked version to launch soon, most likely in February 2023

The upcoming naked version of the Apache RR 310 is slated to be called RTR 310, and the overall body panels will be shared with the BMW G 310 R. Henceforth, just like the G310 RR, the upcoming TVS naked bike will also be a rebadged version of the BMW naked bike, with renewed graphic design.

It was the Apache RR 310, a fully-faired sports machine. In fact, BMW G 310 RR is pound for pound, the same bike as Apache RR 310, just Rs. 27,000 more for white colour. Now, sources reveal that TVS is soon going to launch a street motorcycle based on the BMW G 310 R.

New TVS Motorcycle Based On BMW G 310 R

TVS had confirmed back in 2020 that a second motorcycle will spawn from its partnership with BMW. Now, three years later, our sources from the company suggest that the TVS Apache RTR 310 could make its first public appearance at the MotoSoul 2023.

The price of this bike is expected to be less than the BMW bike, whose ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 2.8 lakhs. According to experts, the price of TVS Apache R310 can be around Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

In that case, the upcoming RTR 310 will be powered by a the same 313cc, single-cylinder engine that powers the BMW G 310 R. It develops 33.5 hp and 27.3 Nm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. It remains to be seen if TVS retunes the engine for a better mid-range performance. The bike’s speed will likely top at around 158 km/h.

The RTR will come with a horizontally fitted TFT screen that will offer Bluetooth connectivity and the rest.
