TVS Introduces the RTX D4 Engine at MotoSoul 2024
TVS Motor Company has unveiled its latest innovation, the RTX D4 engine, at the MotoSoul 2024 event. This 300cc liquid-cooled engine marks a significant step forward, becoming the second liquid-cooled engine from the brand after the Apache RR 310. The RTX D4 is engineered with a six-speed gearbox and a ride-by-wire system, delivering precise and responsive performance.

Performance and Technology Highlights
The RTX D4 is designed with torque delivery in focus, ensuring smooth and linear power output. It produces nearly 35bhp at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm, making it a robust option for varied riding conditions. TVS has incorporated a patented deflector and duct system to optimize thermal management, ensuring the engine performs efficiently even under demanding circumstances.
Adventure Motorcycle to Debut the RTX D4 Engine
The first motorcycle to feature the RTX D4 platform will be TVS’ upcoming adventure model, tentatively named the RTX. This adventure bike has been spotted testing, showcasing rugged aesthetics and high-performance hardware. Features like long-travel suspension, spoked wheels, off-road-ready tires, and an overall tall stance highlight its adventure-focused design.
