TVS Teases New Ntorq
The 2022 TVS Ntorq teaser reveals new spoke alloy wheels
TVS has flaunted a new teaser of what could be a new variant its moto-scooter, Ntorq 125, for 2022. Going by the teaser which has the letter ‘XT’ in bold, the new variant could most probably be named ‘XT’ as TVS already sells a variant of the Ntorq named ‘XP’.
The greatest revelation in the teaser is the new curved spoke-like alloy wheels that look eye-catchy. This pattern reminds us of the MV Augustas that sport such designs for alloy wheels. Other than this, not many details could be seen. But expect the scooter to get a new paint job and a slew of new graphics as well. It could also get an updated instrument cluster with new features.
Currently, the scooter is sold in 5 variants – 2 standard models, Race edition, Super Squad edition, and Race XP model. The new variant would most probably sit above the XP, which is the current top model, with an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 98,000/-. The Ntorq currently starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 82,592/- for the standard drum brake variant.
The moto-scooter is powered by a 124.8 cc 3-valve CVTi engine that produces 9.25 HP and 10.5 Nm. TVS claims a top speed of 95 km/hr with a 0-60 km/hr time of 9 seconds. It comes with a host of connected features under TVS Smart Xonnect.
In addition, the scooter also gets engine kill switch, pass switch, 20 litres under-seat storage, USB charger cum light, external fuel filler cap, low fuel indicator, dual steering lock, and high speed alert.
