Royal Enfield Scram 450 – Key features
The roadster variant of Royal Enfield’s 450cc portfolio is expected to be one of the most affordable bikes. This can be seen through the changes in its equipment list. Unlike the Himalayan 450, which has 43 mm USD forks, the roadster version is equipped with standard telescopic forks at the front. However, it is possible that USD forks may be offered as an optional feature.
In order to cut down on expenses, the Royal Enfield Scram 450 will share several components with the Himalayan 450. This includes an all-LED lighting setup, a monoshock suspension at the rear, and 320 mm front / 270 mm rear disk brakes. Dual-channel ABS will be provided as a standard feature.
However, the roadster version may not come with the switchable ABS feature that is available with the Himalayan 450. This will further contribute to cost reduction.

Royal Enfield Scram 450 specs, performance
The Himalayan 450 seems to share the same upswept exhaust as the bike in question. It is equipped with 17-inch alloys on both ends, fitted with road-biased tires. The wide rear tire should provide excellent grip for thrilling high-speed rides. Additionally, the bike offers a comfortable and upright riding position. The seat height is expected to be below 800 mm, which will enhance overall control and handling.
Based on the spy shots, it appears that the engine is utilized as a stressed member. Powering the bike will be the identical 452cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 40.02 PS and a peak torque of 40 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a slip and assist clutch. It is possible that Royal Enfield might make some adjustments to the gear ratios to align with the bike’s roadster profile.
