Yamaha has introduced the refreshed 2025 XSR 900, enhancing its mid-size modern-classic roadster with cutting-edge features and technical improvements. The 2025 XSR 900 features a new five-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, replacing the previous 3.5-inch screen. This enhancement provides superior readability and functionality, contributing to its contemporary allure. Additionally, Yamaha has incorporated two customizable riding modes alongside the existing presets: Sport, Street, and Rain, granting riders greater control over their riding experience.

In adherence to Euro5+ emissions standards, Yamaha has implemented internal modifications to the XSR 900’s engine while maintaining its power and character. The 890cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine continues to produce an impressive 117.3bhp at 10,000rpm and 93Nm of torque at 7,000rpm.
To enhance safety during aggressive downshifts, Yamaha has introduced a Back Slip Regulator, which collaborates with the slipper clutch to prevent rear-wheel lockups. The suspension has also been upgraded with a fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear, featuring revised linkage for improved comfort and handling.

Maintaining its retro-inspired design, the XSR 900 has not altered in overall aesthetics or dimensions. It retains a seat height of 810mm, a kerb weight of 193kg, and is equipped with lightweight 17-inch spin-forged wheels. The braking system features Brembo’s radially mounted calipers at the front and floating calipers at the rear, ensuring exceptional stopping power.
