PURE EV ETrance (Standard)

PURE EV ETrance is an electric moped bike available at a starting price of Rs. 54,839 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 5 colours. PURE EV ETrance comes up with both front and rear drum brakes. PURE EV is an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer based out of Hyderabad. The company originated from the campus of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad where it has set up its research facility. The company has five products in its portfolio and the ETrance is the cheapest of them all. It is an electric mobike that is meant for short-distance urban commute.

Owing to its small dimensions and light weight of 49kg, the ETrance can be used by young individuals and female riders. Moreover, it is also designed to be suitable for last-mile delivery purpose with a long seat and a front storage compartment. Interestingly, it also has a load-bearing capacity of 100kg. Other features include an LED headlamp and blinkers, an LCD console, and a smart lock with anti-theft feature.

The ETrance is powered by a 1kWh portable battery that is claimed to deliver a maximum range of 60km. Meanwhile, it features a 48V motor that has a rated torque output of 60Nm. The top speed figure has not been provided by the manufacturer. Coming to the hardware, its rides on alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a drum brake at both ends.
