The Suzuki Gixxer gets its power from a 249cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine that makes around 26.1bhp of power at 9300rpm and 22.2Nm of peak torque at 7300rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a slick six-speed gearbox. The bike rides on telescopic forks up front and a monoshock for the rear. Meanwhile, for braking, the Gixxer 250 employs disc brakes at both ends that are assisted by dual-channel ABS as standard fitment.
The Gixxer 250 is available in two colour schemes – dual-tone Metallic Matte Platinum Silver with Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Black livery. It also comes adorning Metallic Triton Blue paint scheme inspired by Suzukis race bikes. In terms of rivalry, the Gixxer 250 locks horns directly with the KTM 250 Duke and Yamaha FZ25, and considering its price, the Bajaj Dominar 400 as well.
