Triumph Rocket III Roadster (Standard) Discontinued

This Bike is out of production.

The Triumph Rocket III is the largest production motorcycle from the iconic British bike maker. Launched for the global markets in late 2004, it was brought to the Indian market in its latest avatar late last year as a part of Triumphs presence in India. The Rocket III is named after the BSA Rocket 3 which in turn was also called the Triumph Trident. The Rocket IIIs most noticeable feature is its massive size. The rider sits behind most of the engine into a seat that sinks low into the overall design.

There is decent amounts of chrome all over including the twin pod instrument gauge as well as the 3X1 dual exhaust pipes to give the bike a premium feel. The Rocket III is powered by a 2.3-litre three-cylinder engine that produces 146bhp and 221Nm of torque. It has been mated to a five-speed sequential gearbox which sends power to the rear wheel via shaft drive. It is underpinned by a tubular steel chassis with USD forks in front and five-way adjustable twin spring shocks for the rear. Stopping power for such massive machine comes courtesy 320mm dual floating discs in front and a single piece unit 316mm unit in the rear.
