Triumph Street Twin is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 7,95,000 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 4 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 8,25,000. The Triumph Street Twin is powered by 900cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 64.1 bhp and a torque of 80 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Triumph Street Twin comes up with anti-locking braking system. The 2021 Triumph Bonneville Street Twin has entered the Indian market at a premium price tag over its predecessor. The 2021 model does not get a major makeover, although Triumph has made a few styling tweaks that include new side panels, decals, foil tank badge, brushed aluminum headlamp brackets, new cast wheels with machined spoke detailing, and a redesigned bench seat.
Mechanical specifications retain a 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that is tuned to produce 64.1bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. The engine is linked to a five speed gearbox. Triumph Motorcycles has also extended the service interval. The Street Twin comes with a 10,000mile/16,000km (or 12 months) service interval.
While the styling has received subtle tweaks, the hardware remains similar to the old model. Thus, the 2021 Triumph Street Twin uses a double downtube chassis. The suspension setup includes telescopic front forks up and a rear mono-shock. The motorcycle rides on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination while the braking setup includes single discs on both ends. The safety net on the motorcycle include a switchable traction system, dual-channel ABS, and two riding modes (Rain and Road).
