The Triumph Thunderbird Storm is a downsized version of the original Thunderbird. Triumph say the motorcycle is still laid-back but underpinned by serious power and handling.Triumph call it a cruiser with a dark side, and in the looks department they are not exaggerating. Let the aside the nicely contrasting chrome exhaust, the motorcycle is all black. Based on the original Thunderbird, the Storm keeps the pure Triumph twin headlights. Standard features on the Thunderbird Storm include ABS, tank mounted speedo which includes an on-board computer, compact rev counter and electronic self-cancelling indicators.

At the heart of this machine lies a 1,700cc parallel-twin engine which puts out 97bhp of power at 5,200rpm and 156Nm of torque at 2,950rpm. All this power is sent to the wheel through a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle uses twin 310mm floating discs with four-piston fixed calipers up front and a single 310mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper.Available in jet black, matte black and matte graphite (grey), the Thunderbird Storm competes with Suzuki M800 and the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob in India.
