The Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx is the flagship adventure touring motorcycle from the British manufacturers stables. The bike uses a 1215cc inline three-cylinder engine delivering 137bhp and 123Nm.The Tiger Explorer XCx has features which accentuate its off-roading capabilities like an upswept exhaust, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, and a sump guard. Apart from this, the bike also features riding modes -Road, Rain, Off-road, Sport and a rider programmable mode. Rider aids include traction control and cornering ABS. It also gets the Triumph Semi Active Suspension (TSAS) system, six-axis IMU and swingarm position sensor to modify the damping settings. The motorcycle also gets 12V power outlets, a USB power outlet, an electrically adjustable windscreen and heated grips.Braking duties at the front are taken up by dual 305mm discs gripped by Brembo callipers while the rear has a Nissin calliper with a 282mm disc. The bike gets 190mm of suspension travel at the front while the rear has a travel of 193mm.The Triumph Tiger Explorer XCx competes against the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro and BMW R 1200 GS Adventure and the Aprilia Caponard 1200 Rally.
