TVS iQube is one of India’s well-established electric scooters, combining practicality, decent performance, and a growing set of modern features. It’s built to cater both to city commuters who just want a reliable EV run-about and to people who want more range and features without going overboard.

What Makes It Special

iQube is notable because it offers multiple battery options, letting buyers choose based on how far they need it to go. The base variant now comes with a 2.2 kWh battery, real-world range of about 75 km, and a charging time from 0-80% of ~2 hours. There are larger battery options too — 3.4 kWh in mid-variants, and a top-end ST version with ~ 5.1-5.3 kWh that claims up to 150-212 km of real-world range depending on conditions.

Performance is decent: speeds of ~75-82 km/h in higher battery variants; acceleration from 0-40 km/h takes around 4-4.5 seconds in many versions.

Features & Design

The iQube comes packed with modern EV features — things like a TFT display (5-inch in base, 7-inch in higher ST variants), turn-by-turn navigation, crash & tow alerts, theft/remote alerts, and usable under-seat storage (30-32 litres in most variants).

Build & ride comfort are good: telescopic front fork suspension, hydraulic/twin shock rears, decent ground clearance, and alloy wheels. The higher spec models also get more premium touches like stronger connectivity, digital document storage, TPMS, etc.

What Riders Should Know

If you mostly ride inside the city (say under ~60-80 km/day), the lower battery versions offer good value and enough range. If you occasionally go longer distances, the ST versions make more sense. Battery charging time increases with battery size, so bigger batteries mean slower 0-80% charge-times. Also, the pricing increases sharply with battery and feature upgrades, so you pay more for range + tech.

Service network, build quality, ride comfort are generally well regarded for TVS, though like many EVs, actual range can vary a lot depending on speed, load, road condition, and weather.
