The Ultraviolette X47 is a groundbreaking electric crossover motorcycle that represents a significant leap in two-wheeler technology, positioning itself as the world’s first radar-integrated electric motorcycle. Launched in September 2025 with an introductory price starting at ₹2.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the X47 is built on the proven F77 platform but reimagined as a versatile crossover that bridges the gap between street motorcycles and adventure tourers.

Performance and Range: The X47 is powered by a 30kW (40.2hp) permanent magnet AC motor producing 100Nm of torque, delivering an impressive 610Nm at the rear wheel. It offers two battery configurations – a 7.1kWh pack providing 211km IDC range and a larger 10.3kWh unit offering up to 323km range on a single charge. The motorcycle accelerates from 0-60km/h in just 2.7 seconds and achieves a top speed of 145km/h.

Revolutionary Safety Technology: The standout feature is the UV HyperSense radar system – a 77GHz medium-range radar capable of monitoring traffic up to 200 metres away. This aviation-inspired technology provides blind spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alerts, and rear collision warnings, adapting to the motorcycle’s lean angles and riding conditions. Additionally, the X47 features an optional dual dashcam system with 1080p front and rear cameras, Sony IMX307 HDR sensors, and up to 256GB storage capacity.

Design and Practicality: Unlike the sport-focused F77, the X47 adopts a more upright riding posture with an 820mm seat height and enhanced comfort for daily use. It features 200mm ground clearance, an adjustable windshield, a cast aluminium subframe, and radial all-terrain tyres, making it suitable for various road conditions. The motorcycle comes with an integrated onboard charger (on select variants), eliminating the need to carry heavy external charging equipment.

Warranty and Variants: Ultraviolette offers an industry-leading warranty of up to 8 years or 8,00,000km on the battery pack. The X47 is available in four variants (Original, Original+, Recon, and Recon+) across two battery options, with prices ranging from ₹2.49 lakh to ₹3.99 lakh.
