The UM Renegade Commando Mojave is a version of the Renegade. This follows a sand motif, so it is available only in matt brown paint, with matching saddlebags and tank pouch. It has the same 279cc, 25bhp motor as the rest of the Renegade range. In fact, it is mechanically identical to the rest of the range.
You get a six-speed gearbox, fuel injection and a top speed in excess of 120kmph. There is a sticker on the motorcycle that proclaims it to be a Mojave – that being the driest, most arid place in North America. The Joshua Trees on the sticker are indicators of the Mojave desert, and add a nice touch to the UM Mojave.It competes with the Royal Enfield Classic Desert Storm, also a cruiser with a sand motif.
