With both front and rear disc brakes, Yamaha FZ S FI comes up with anti-locking braking system. This FZ S FI bike weighs 137 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters. The FZS FI is one of the most popular model from Yamaha Motor India. And the latest iteration of the 150cc roadster is two kilograms lighter than the 2020 model, tipping the scale at 135kg as against 137kg of its predecessor.

The 2021 FZS FI also benefits from the new Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth technology that offers access to functions such as answer back, e-lock, locate my bike, hazard, etc. The FZS FI is sold in five colour options matte red, dark matte blue, matte black and dark knight. It is also available in a Vintage Edition that features a green paint scheme with chrome graphics and sports a tuck and roll seat design in a tan brown shade.

The changes, however, are limited to the updates mentioned above. The feature list continues to comprise a single-channel ABS, an LED headlight, chrome highlights, a 140mm wide rear radial tyre, and a two-level single-piece saddle. The safety net has been further enhanced with the addition of a side-stand engine cutoff function.

The Yamaha FZS-Fi is powered by a 149 cc, fuel-injected engine that makes 12.2bhp and 13.6Nm. The hardware comprises telescopic forks at the front, preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels. The FZS FI competes against the likes of the Honda X-Blade, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Suzuki Gixxer, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
