The SZ-S is a premium 150cc commuter motorcycle from Yamaha. The bike is targeted towards consumers who are looking for more than a regular looking 150cc bike and with its overall styling; it attracts many buyers from this segment. The SZ-S is powered by a single-cylinder 153cc air-cooled engine that churns out 12bhp at 7,500rpm and maximum torque of 12.8Nm at 4,500rpm.
This engine is mated to a five speed gearbox with one down and four up shift pattern. The Japanese maker claims that the engine has been tuned for optimum performance in the low to mid-speed range.The SZ-S gets disc brake at the front as standard and drum brake at the rear. With a tank capacity of 14 litres, it can easily travel for 600 kms at one go. The SZ-S is sold in India with two colour options Red and Black.
