After the manufacturer began its R&D for electric vehicles in 2004, the company launched YO bykes that currently offers six different EVs and the YO Xplor is an apart of this range.The YO Xplor gets a multi-reflector head lamp and a telescopic suspension in the front.
It features a digital odometer with trip switch and displays power mode from 35 to 55 kmph and economy mode from 30 to 35 kmph.The scooter is powered by a 250W motor and a 33 Ah VRLA battery. The company claims that this battery takes six to eight hours for a complete charge and the scooter can run for 105 to 110kms on a single charge. The two-wheeler weighs 105kg and can attain a maximum speed of 25kmph.The advantage of this scooter is the cheap running and maintenance cost apart from the eco-friendliness due to the low emissions. No license or a registration plate is required.
