Jawa Standard (Khakhi & Midnight Grey)

Jawa Standard is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,78,457 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 5 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,95,680. The Jawa Standard is powered by 293cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 27 bhp and a torque of 27.05 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Jawa Standard comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Standard bike weighs 172 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters. The Jawa Standard sits above the Forty Two in the model hierarchy. It shares its mechanicals with the Jawa Forty Two, but its design harks back to the model that won over the hearts of the Indian customers in its last innings in India.

The Jawa Standard is powered by a BS6-compliant, 293cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine. It generates 27bhp and 28Nm and has a six-speed gearbox. It runs on conventional telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. There is a 280mm disc brake at the front, with a 153mm drum for the rear. Single-channel ABS is standard.

Instrumentation consists of a single integrated analog unit that shows speed and fuel, besides an odometer. As befits a neo-retro motorcycle, there is a lot of chrome and the flowing lines are reminiscent of the original Ideal Jawa that was sold in India. Grey, black and maroon are the three standard colours it is available in. Classic Legends also launched two special colours called Khakhi and Midnight Grey, in July, 2021. These versions get certain cosmetic add-ons meant for commemorating the Indian Armys 50th anniversary in the 1971 war.

The Jawa Standard retails for Rs 1.64 lakh and competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 series and the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350.
