Powering the Mahindra Gusto 125 is a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8.5bhp at 7000rpm and peak torque of 10Nm at 5500rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission. Suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is done by drum brakes at both ends along with a CBS (Combined Braking System).
