Harley-Davidson X440’s online bookings close August 3, deliveries from October
Hero MotoCorp will on August 3 close online bookings for the Harley-Davidson X440 motorbike, which generated “highly positive response” after the launch on July 3, the company has said.
Test rides for pre-booked customers will begin from September 1, the Indian company, which has tied up the iconic American bike manufacturer, said in a statement on July 28.
Hero MotoCorp will commence the production of the Harley-Davidson X440 in September at the company’s Garden Factory at Neemrana, Rajasthan.
Deliveries of the bike will finally commence in October 2023. The bike maker says deliveries to customers will be made on a prioritised basis as per booking dates.
Those who are still considering to buy the motorcycle, you may want to book it before 3rd August in order to get the intro pricing. They are accepting booking on Harley India’s official website for a token amount of Rs. 5000/-.

The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in Denim, Vivid and S variants at an introductory price point of Rs. 2,29,000/- (Denim), Rs. 2,49,000/- (Vivid) and Rs. 2,69,000 (S) respectively (all prices, ex-showroom).
The bike is powered by a 440cc engine, single-cylinder engine producing 27 HP at 6000 RPM and 38 Nm at 4000 RPM, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
