2V got discontinued after the launch of 4V

Hero MotoCorp discontinues Xtreme & Passion variants

Hero has discontinued the Xtreme 200S 2V from its lineup. This news comes after the 4V model, the Xtreme 200S 4V, was launched recently.

While the now-discontinued Xtreme 200S 2V carried a price tag of Rs 1,35,360 (ex-showroom), the 4-valve model costs Rs 1,41,250 (ex-showroom), which is a premium of Rs 5,890.

The 200cc 4 valve oil-cooled OBD2 and E20 compliant engine now produces 19.1 PS at 8000 RPM and 17.35 Nm torque at 6500 RPM.

Hero MotoCorp has taken the Passion Pro off its official website as well, indicating that the model has been discontinued for the time being. However, the Passion Plus and Passion Xtec variants continue to be on sale.

The Passion Pro was available in two variants – Drum and Disc. It was available with a price of around Rs. 85,000/- (ex-showroom). It was powered by a 113.2cc, single-cylinder motor producing 9.02 BHP and 9.89 Nm torque.

Currently, the Indian two-wheeler maker is preparing to launch the much awaited Hero Karizma XMR 210. It is scheduled to launch on 29th August. The new bike is expected to come with a new liquid-cooled 210cc engine producing around 25 BHP.
