We had the opportunity to test the Hero Xoom nearly a year ago. Since that time, the manufacturer has introduced a new variant known as the Combat Edition. We have recently evaluated this scooter and would like to share our insights.

Although the Xoom Combat is marketed as a special edition, the primary distinction lies in its color scheme. The model featured here showcases a grey finish complemented by neon accents. It is worth noting that the design of the Xoom has consistently been one of its most appealing attributes, and the new color scheme further enhances its visual appeal.
In terms of specifications, the Hero Xoom Combat edition retains the same features, hardware, engine, and components as its predecessor. It is equipped with a 110.9cc engine that generates 8.05bhp and 8.7Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).The Combat edition is also outfitted with a digital display and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to access turn-by-turn navigation as well as call and SMS notifications. Additional features include a USB charging port, LED lighting, and cornering lights.

At first glance, the Hero Xoom appears compact. However, once seated, its proportions become apparent, providing a relatively spacious seating experience. While the floorboard may not offer extensive space, there is sufficient room to adjust your feet comfortably.
The Xoom delivers a lively and responsive performance right from the start. The engine is energetic, providing ample power for urban riding conditions. It is capable of swift overtaking maneuvers and achieves a top speed of approximately 85 km/h.Moreover, the suspension system of the Hero Xoom Combat effectively absorbs bumps and shocks. However, when encountering unexpected sharp and deep potholes, the limitations of the suspension travel become noticeable, and the impact may be felt.
