Indian Motorcycles has introduced the 2023 Sport Chief to international markets. This model is derived from the standard Chief but incorporates several enhancements to enhance its sporty appeal.

Firstly, the Sport Chief features a quarter fairing that significantly alters its appearance, giving it a more aggressive stance. Additionally, it is equipped with new upright handlebars that include six-inch risers. Beyond aesthetic improvements, this motorcycle boasts a larger engine compared to the other models in the Indian Chief lineup. It is powered by a blacked-out Thunderstroke 116 engine, delivering 153Nm of torque, which it shares with the Roadmaster and Darkhorse series.
Moreover, Indian has designed the motorcycle with a narrower trail and sharper rake, utilizing 43mm forks from KYB. At the rear, the Sport Chief is fitted with dual shocks from Fox, providing four inches of travel. It also features upgraded Brembo brakes and Pirelli Night Dragon tyres. In terms of technology, the Indian Sport Chief is equipped with Ride Command and a touchscreen display that provides various information, including a turn-by-turn navigation system.
