Okinawa becomes the first ev manufacturer to achieve the prestigious milestone
Okinawa Autotech, a leading Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer today announced that it has reached its 2.5 Lakh sales milestone in India. The company rolled out its 250,000th unit, from its plant in Rajasthan.
This milestone production figure has been achieved 8 years after the company commenced operations in India in 2015 while it entered markets in 2017.

Okinawa Autotech Over the Years
Leading the EV revolution from the front, the company started its operations in 2015 and introduced its first model Ridge in 2017. In 2019, Okinawa Autotech became the first OEM to secure Fame II subsidy from the Government of India.
The company announced the inauguration of its first Research and Development (R&D) Center in Italy, Europe, in association with its joint venture (JV) partner Tacita®️ with the company plans to invest Euros 25 million (Rs 218 crores) over the next three years.
The partnership will focus on new product development, upgrading the existing product portfolio and developing an all-new e-powertrain to support the next generation of products.
The company is further planning to unveil its first electric cruiser motorcycle very soon, followed by other new models in 2023.

Okinawa Praise Pro e-scooter
Okinawa Praise Pro is their best seller. It is priced at Rs 99,465 (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 1 kW BLDC motor along with a 2 kWh removable lithium ion battery pack which together produces 2.5 kW and allows for a top speed of 58 km/h.
Charging time of Okinawa Praise Pro is 2-3 hours with a range of 88 kms in Sports mode. On board features include LED headlamp with DRLs, a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, central locking with anti-theft alarm, keyless start and USB port.
Suspension and braking is via telescopic fork in front and twin shocks at the rear along with front disc and rear drum brake setup.
