Royal Enfield Announces Comprehensive Recall for Reflector Issues

Royal Enfield has announced a recall that impacts its entire range of products. The company indicated that the reflectors installed on the rear and/or sides may not comply with the required reflective performance standards.

While the exact number of motorcycles affected by this recall has not been disclosed, it is known that these units were manufactured between November 2022 and March 2023. Currently, Royal Enfield offers a total of 11 motorcycle models, all of which are included in this recall. The company has confirmed that the issue has been identified in a very limited number of motorcycles.

Royal Enfield will reach out to the affected customers in a systematic manner. These customers will be instructed to bring their motorcycles to the nearest service center, where the side and rear reflectors will be replaced at no cost. This procedure is anticipated to take about 15 minutes. The recall is applicable in India, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, the United Kingdom, as well as South Korea, Canada, and the United States.
