Yamaha R25 2024 model – New Glacier White colour

Yamaha had previously introduced the Midnight Star Purple color for the Yamaha YZF-R25 in Malaysia last year. However, this color has now been replaced with a new Glacier White shade. The new white shade can be seen on various parts of the bike such as the headlamp cowl, front fender, side fairing, and fuel tank.

In addition to the new color, there are contrasting Cyan graphics on the bike as well as Cyan treatment on the wheels. The combination of White and Cyan is visually appealing without being too flashy.

While the Yamaha Racing Blue color scheme remains an option for the 2024 R25 model, the new Glacier White shade offers a distinct change from the discontinued Purple color.

Yamaha R25 2024 model – What else is new?

The 2024 model of Yamaha R25 sees the introduction of the new Glacier White color option as the main change. The bike is equipped with a 249cc, two-cylinder, 8-valve DOHC engine that delivers 35.5 hp of maximum power and 22.6 Nm of peak torque.

This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The R25 features a diamond frame, USD front forks, and a preload adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear.

With 17-inch wheels on both ends, the R25 comes with 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tires. The bike is equipped with disc brakes and ABS on both wheels. The seat height of 758 mm ensures agile handling. Weighing 160 kg, the R25 offers a ground clearance of 160 mm.

Tech-savvy riders will appreciate the rectangular LCD instrument screen, which provides essential information like fuel gauge, gear position, clock, average fuel economy, and real-time fuel consumption.

Yamaha R-lineup in India

In India, Yamaha’s R-series includes the R15 and R3 models. Internationally, the lineup also features popular bikes like the flagship R1, R7, and R125. The overall design of the R25 is reminiscent of the R15 V4 sold in India.

The Glacier White color choice for the R25 in Malaysia bears some resemblance to the Intensity White option offered with the R15 V4 in India. Nevertheless, the latter comes with golden USD forks and red alloy wheels. Additionally, there are variations in the side fairing design.
