Affordable, Eco-Friendly Scooter Now Available in Three Exciting Shades

Yamaha has recently launched the 2024 edition of the Vino 50cc compact scooter in its domestic market of Japan. This adorable two-wheeler is highly sought after for its nostalgic design, lightweight structure, and impressive fuel economy.

Although there are three fresh color choices to choose from, the mechanical components remain unchanged from the previous model.

2024 Yamaha Vino – New colours

Three fresh color choices have been unveiled – Battle Red, Puko Blue, and Matte Jeans Blue Metallic. The standout among them is the Matte Blue hue, featuring striking Cyan and Gray designs on the front and side panels. The chrome accents on the turn signals, round rear-view mirrors, grab rail, and tail lamp housing add to the scooter’s appealing appearance.

Vino’s latest red shade is presented in a glossy finish, featuring sleek black and silver graphics on both the front and side panels. The floorboard area, glovebox, and seat are all elegantly adorned in black. On the other hand, the third color option, Puco Blue, offers a more understated and refined look.

However, the color range extends beyond these options. It encompasses a vibrant assortment of light blue, ivory white, black, and brown. The front and side panels are embellished with graphics in a charming brown hue. Puco Blue, in particular, perfectly complements the scooter’s retro profile.

While the Mahogany Brown Metallic, Harvest Beige, and Graphite Black colors have been retained from the previous model, three color options—Pearl Shining Yellow, Matte Armored Green Metallic, and Bonnie Blue—have been discontinued for the 2023 model. As a result, the 2024 Yamaha Vino 50cc scooter now offers a total of six color choices. Aside from the introduction of three new colors and the removal of three others, there haven’t been any significant visual updates to the scooter.

2024 Yamaha Vino – Features, performance

The Yamaha Vino scooter is equipped with a wide array of practical features. It includes a designated area at the front for a 500 ml plastic bottle, a hook in the center for hanging different items, a glove box with a 12v accessory socket on the left side, and an under-seat storage of approximately 20 liters that can hold a half face helmet and other small belongings.

2024 Yamaha Vino 50cc

The Yamaha Vino features a vintage-inspired semi-digital instrument console, which provides essential information like the fuel gauge, speedometer, clock, and engine oil change interval.

Notable features also include an engine idling stop system that contributes to fuel savings. Additionally, the Vino is equipped with a rear wheel lock, key cylinder with a shutter, combi-brake system, and an easily operable center stand.

Underneath its sleek design, the scooter is powered by a 49cc, single-cylinder, SOHC engine that delivers a maximum power of 4.5 PS and a peak torque of 4.1 Nm. This engine is paired with a V-belt type continuously variable speed transmission.

With a fuel efficiency rating of 58.4km/L according to WMTC standards, the Vino ensures economical rides. The scooter rides on 10-inch wheels with drum brakes on both ends, and it has a fuel tank capacity of 4.5 liters. Weighing only 81 kg and featuring a seat height of 720 mm, the Yamaha Vino is particularly suitable for shorter riders.
