Harley-Davidson has updated its motorcycle line-up by launching the Forty-Eight Special in India. It is the blacked-out variant of the standard Sportster Forty-Eight already on sale in the country. The motorcycle gets black treatment on components like the slash-cut exhaust tips with new chrome shields and the engine head covers accompanied by chrome crankcase covers.

The Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe is, as the name suggests, part of the Softail range “ which means rear suspension is present, albeit hidden under the rear seat. It fits into the neo-retro segment with its acres of chrome and alloy wheels. The head may look like something from the 70s but it is an LED unit, and the Milwaukee Eight 107 that powers the Softail Deluxe makes it 10 per cent quicker to 100kmph compared to the outgoing model.
